LoguBlu develops natural active ingredients from the botanical biodiversity of the Blue Zones for Skin Longevity applications.
Our aim is to develop the first value chain of standardised and scientifically substantiated natural ingredients sourced from territories of exceptional longevity recognised as "Blue Zones", for cosmetic, dermocosmetic and nutraceutical applications.
For LoguBlu, Skin Longevity refers to the development of natural active ingredients targeting skin quality, resilience, and healthy skin aging over time.
Based in France, LoguBlu is building its first research and sourcing focus in Sardinia, Italy, where the term "Blue Zone" first emerged.
Sourcing
Selection of native, endemic and long-naturalized non-native plant species from the Blue Zones.
Green extraction technologies
Plant-specific sustainable processes for standardised natural extracts in France.
Validated Actives
Scientifically substantiated ingredients for skin longevity.
From human longevity to skin longevity
centenarians per 100,000 inhabitants reported in Sardinian Blue Zone studies, compared with 10 / 100,000 in other European countries.
Human longevity is multifactorial, involving diet, daily physical activity, genetics, social relationships, psychological well-being. Among these factors, plant resources play a central role.

From Blue Zones' Nutritional Patterns to Skin Longevity
Antioxidants, polyphenols, and plant-derived bioactive compounds found in traditional Blue Zone nutritional patterns may help support biological pathways associated not only with "lifespan", the duration of life, but also with "skinspan," the duration of healthy, functional skin.

From longevity territories, Blue Zones, to natural active ingredients
A new reading of the "Blue Zones"
Until now, the Blue Zones, territories recognised for the exceptional longevity of their populations, have mainly been studied through factors such as genetics, diet, and lifestyle.
LoguBlu offers a new perspective by valorising the plant biodiversity of these territories. The company positions itself as the first producer and supplier of natural ingredients dedicated to the Blue Zones, developing an integrated value chain from the selection, identification, and valorisation of plant raw materials to their transformation into natural active ingredients for cosmetic, dermocosmetic, and nutraceutical applications.
The project starts in Europe and is built on a continental model that prioritises the valorisation of resources as close as possible to their territory of origin, in order to foster a more coherent, traceable, and responsible value chain.

From the nature of "Blue Zones" to tomorrow's health & beauty
Based on solid scientific literature and a rigorous selection of plant resources from longevity territories, LoguBlu develops natural-origin active ingredients from "Blue Zones", intended for the cosmetic, dermocosmetic and nutraceutical sectors, with application perspectives in the environmental field.
In terms of longevity, and more particularly skin longevity, LoguBlu relies on local plant biodiversity, composed of native, endemic and long-naturalized non-native species, to identify bioactive compounds capable of modulating cellular ageing pathways, thereby contributing to extending "Skin Span" and promoting "Skin Longevity".
